Why Rihanna will not perform at the Super Bowl…
Pop/R&B superstar, Rihanna, turned down the opportunity to perform at the 2019 Super Bowl because she is currently not feeling the NFL. According to US Weekly, Rihanna rejected CBS/NFL’s offer to perform on stage because she was unhappy with the NFL intimidating players for kneeling during the National Anthem (Colin Kaepernick starting kneeling to raise awareness for equal rights). Rihanna is in total support of Colin and she will not perform out of respect for his movement.
