Jenna Ortega made headlines when she called out the writers of Wednesday and revealed that she had to change lines on set because she didn’t like the scenes. And many writers took offence to that and most recently Hollywood writers on strike made signs mocking Jenna Ortega. I also believe some of this animosity is due to Jenna Ortega attacking many modern female characters highlighting how many strong female characters especially from Disney are boring, and 2 dimensional. I think these statements made Hollywood writers even more angry with Jenna Ortega.
