Think back to middle school soccer practice and the gear that came with the sport: your shorts were most likely made by English sportswear supplier Umbro. Now, they’re back: For his spring 2017 menswear collection, Off-White designer Virgil Abloh put his magic touch on the label, reworking its logo and athletic signatures with directional tailoring. Earlier today in New York City, Justin Bieber scored one for style in a pair of plaid shorts from the collaboration, while last night, across town, Abloh’s CFDA date Bella Hadid infused the same boyish staple with girlish charm.
