‘Stranger Things’ actor Randy Havens, who plays Hawkins High School science teacher Scott Clarke on the hit Netflix show, addressed rumors that major cuts were made to the series’ final installment—and that a lengthier cut of the season exists. In an Instagram Stories post December 28, he referred to the 2017 fan-led movement to release the director’s cut of Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’ and wrote, “There’s no secret Snyder cut of the show. Please don’t believe everything some random ass tells you on the internet.” Of the series finale set to air on Netflix December 31, co-creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview December 25 they aren’t “trying to shock or upset anyone” with the ending, as Matt revealed, “I hope by the time people get to the end of the finale that it just feels like there’s something inevitable about what happens, and that it doesn’t feel painful but feels satisfying.”
