Nick Reiner will officially be charged with two counts of first-degree murder over the deaths of his parents Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner, days after the couple was found dead in their California home Dec. 14, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office announced Dec. 16.
If convicted, Nick Reiner could face the death penalty or life in prison without parole. The 32-year-old screenwriter is currently being held without bail.
