Actress Cailee Spaeny clarified her relationship status with her ‘Priscilla’ costar Jacob Elordi after the ‘Euphoria’ actor revealed his phone wallpaper was a picture of them doing karaoke, with romance rumors soon abounding. “This was a great night,” Cailee said during an appearance on Today Dec. 9. “He’s a dear friend and I’m so proud of him.” Further explaining the origin story of the picture, the 27-year-old added, “He came to London, and I was in town. The only way to celebrate anything is a night of karaoke. So, this is us probably singing Shakira or something, as you do.” Jacob—who recently starred in ‘Frankenstein’ after playing Elvis Presley in ‘Priscilla’—revealed their fun outing had made his background during the Nov. 6 episode of the ‘Happy, Sad, Confused’ podcast.
