More than 20 years after Hilary Duff appeared at the ‘Freaky Friday’ premiere amid her ongoing feud with Lindsay Lohan, Chad Michael Murray shared insight into inviting his ‘A Cinderella Story’ costar. “I didn’t know there was a feud,” Chad admitted during a March 25 appearance on Virgin Radio Toronto’s ‘Daryn & Deepa Mornings.’ “How was I supposed to know there was a feud? I found out quickly after.” He said of his and Hilary’s ‘Cinderella’ adaptation, “We were filming, and we had a big kissing sequence and they wanted our characters to kind of get to know each other.” He recalled production urging the two to spend more time together so that he and Hilary would feel comfortable when Sam and Austin ultimately recorded their fairytale finale. He added, “It was great. She’s super sweet.”
